Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Reporting, Performance and Insights Manager to lead performance reporting across the HMRC West contract. The role focuses on turning data into actionable insight, owning reporting cycles and supporting senior decisions from a single, trusted data picture.

Based in the UK with home-based work and occasional travel to HMRC West sites, you’ll collaborate across Operations, Compliance, Finance and Asset Management to improve how information is used to drive performance and value.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance reporting within a complex service environment.
• Advanced Excel and data validation skills.
• Experience with Power BI and reporting tools.
• Ability to communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of KPIs, SLAs and reporting governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting, including KPI and service level reporting, packs and leadership updates.
• Turn complex data into clear commentary, trends and recommendations for decisions.
• Validate and reconcile datasets with auditable evidence trails.
• Own reporting deadlines, version control, quality checks and sign-offs.
• Support contractual payment calculations with reliable data.
• Identify and escalate data quality issues, reporting gaps and risks, coordinating with colleagues.
• Improve dashboards and templates; automate to reduce manual work.
• Share expertise to strengthen reporting standards across the team.

• Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:30-17:00

At Sodexo, we're looking for a Reporting, Performance and Insights Manager to lead performance reporting across our HMRC West contract. This is an opportunity to take ownership, work closely with senior stakeholders and improve how information is used across a complex, multi-site operation.

Your opportunity

You'll be at the heart of our Business Performance team, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and backed by clear evidence. Beyond producing reports, you'll explain what the data means, highlight emerging risks and identify opportunities to improve performance.

Working across Operations, Compliance, Commercial, Finance and Asset Management, you'll bring information together into one consistent, trusted picture of contract performance.

What you'll do

• Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting, including KPI and service level reporting, performance packs and senior leadership updates.
• Turn complex data into clear commentary, trends and recommendations that support operational and client decisions.
• Validate and reconcile datasets, ensuring reporting is complete, accurate and supported by an auditable evidence trail.
• Own reporting deadlines, version control, quality checks and sign-off processes.
• Support contractual payment calculations with reliable, traceable performance data.
• Identify and escal[i]ate data quality issues, reporting gaps and commercial risks, coordinating with colleagues to resolve them.
• Improve dashboards, templates and reporting processes, using automation to reduce manual work.
• Share your expertise to strengthen reporting standards and capability across the team.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience in performance reporting, management information, analytics or contract reporting within a complex service environment.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with confidence in validating and reconciling complex datasets.
• Experience using Power BI, computer-aided facilities management systems or similar operational reporting tools.
• A strong understanding of KPIs, service level agreements, reporting governance and quality assurance.
• Clear written communication and the ability to turn detailed findings into useful insight for senior stakeholders.
• Confidence to challenge inconsistencies constructively, influence colleagues and manage competing deadlines.

Experience in facilities management or the public sector, alongside knowledge of Maximo, would be advantageous.
