What you’ll be doing

You’ll join our highly experienced and welcoming Finance team in this fixed-term contract (initially offered on a 12 month contract basis with possible scope for further extension), responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual items related to the group and its subsidiaries. In particular, you’ll support the Group’s quarterly financial reporting submissions to our parent company via OneStream and participate in work supporting the Finance Department’s finance systems transformation activities.

As a qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a track record of delivering a high-quality product to tight deadlines, you’ll already have good technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and UK GAAP as well as experience using general ledgers and wider ERP systems and potentially some experience producing or auditing group consolidated statutory accounts. We’d love to see some general, commercial insurance practice and policies knowledge; however, more important is your ability to adapt to changing requirements and work within a team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and your effective prioritisation and organisational skills.
