As a Repairs Technician, your responsibilities will include testing, fault-finding, and repairing electronic products returned by customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability standards of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and calibration of electrical/electronic instrumentation.
  • Fault-finding and component-level repair.
  • Raising requisitions for replacement components as needed.
  • Supporting an international network of Megger-approved repair centres.
  • Using high voltage test equipment correctly.
  • Producing fault reports and entering data into the Repairs database.
  • Representing the Repairs department in new product development projects.

Qualifications/Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in electronic repairs or a related field.
  • Relevant technical qualification or certification in electronics is preferred.
  • Proficiency in testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic products.
  • Experience with high voltage testing is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
