Job summary

Housing Solutions is seeking a Repairs Surveyor to inspect and diagnose complex repairs and property defects, specify corrective work and manage repair projects up to £20,000. You will work with our in-house team, contractors and local authority colleagues, representing Housing Solutions in resident support.

The role covers damp and mould, HHSRS hazard management, disrepair claims, adaptations and post-inspection of completed work.

Join Housing Solutions’ Repairs team and help ensure residents’ homes are safe, well maintained and repaired to a high standard.

As Repairs Surveyor, you will inspect and diagnose complex repairs and property defects, specify corrective work and manage repair projects up to £20,000. You will work with our in-house team, contractors, consultants and local authority colleagues, representing Housing Solutions when supporting residents and leaseholders.

The role covers a varied range of technical matters, including damp and mould, HHSRS hazard management, disrepair claims, adaptations, insurance-related damage, Party Wall matters, latent defects and post-inspection of completed work. You will follow health and safety requirements and contribute your expertise to wider standards, specifications and fire-safety-related product decisions.
