Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking an experienced damp and mould supervisor to lead teams of subcontractors across the UK. You will manage day-to-day enquiries, performance, and service quality, ensuring works are safe, efficient, and delivered to Axis's high standards.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong trade knowledge, excellent organisation, and the ability to motivate a mobile workforce delivering first-time fixes and positive resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor or Senior Operative in social housing.
• Excellent technical knowledge across multiple trades.
• Understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS, and compliance processes.
• Experience managing teams and monitoring performance metrics.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of subcontractors delivering damp and mould repairs.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, to specification.
• Manage productivity, performance, and quality through site visits.
• Review completed works, coding accuracy, and variations.
• Liaise with planners, admins, and client teams for smooth workflow.
• Ensure works comply with Health & Safety and regulatory standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks, risk assessments, and site inspections.
• Support resource planning and coordination.
• Build strong relationships with residents, clients and colleagues.
• Mentor apprentices and develop team capability.

We’re looking for an experienced damp and mould supervisor to oversee teams of sub‑contractors. You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day enquires, performance management, and service quality, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to Axis’s high standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong trade knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a mobile workforce delivering first‑time fixes and great resident experiences.

• Support with resource planning and coordination.


• Build strong working relationships with residents, clients and colleagues, maintaining professionalism at all times.


• Mentor apprentices and develop team capability in line with Axis standards.

About You

• Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor or Senior Operative in social housing or property maintenance.


• Excellent technical knowledge across multiple trades.


• Understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS, and compliance processes.


• Experience managing teams and monitoring performance metrics.


• Strong communication and organisational skills.


• IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, mobile work management systems).


• CSCS card and supervisory safety training (SSSTS / SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely preferred).


• Full UK driving licence
