Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a busy housing/property services team in Tonbridge on a 6-month temporary contract. You will coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance works, allocating tasks to operatives and contractors based on location and skills, while managing workloads to meet target times and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing or property services.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication with residents and contractors.
• Experience using repairs management or scheduling systems.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule responsive repairs and maintenance works.
• Allocate jobs to operatives and contractors based on location, skills and availability.
• Manage diaries and workloads to ensure appointments are met.
• Liaise with tenants, residents, operatives and contractors to arrange and confirm appointments.
• Monitor outstanding repairs and follow up on delayed or incomplete works.
• Deal with queries and resolve scheduling issues quickly and effectively.
• Update internal systems accurately with job and appointment information.
• Prioritise urgent and emergency repairs appropriately.
• Work closely with the wider repairs and housing teams to ensure a smooth service.
• Ensure all works are scheduled in line with relevant policies, procedures and service standards.
