Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Repairs Planner to join a busy housing/property services team in Tonbridge on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

You will plan and schedule responsive repairs, allocate jobs to operatives and contractors, and manage diaries to meet appointments while maintaining excellent communication with residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler, Maintenance Coordinator or similar.
• Experience within social housing, housing maintenance or property services.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal confidently with residents and contractors.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Experience using repairs management or scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule responsive repairs and maintenance works.

• Prioritise urgent and emergency repairs appropriately.
• Work closely with the wider repairs and housing teams to ensure a smooth service.
• Ensure all works are scheduled in line with relevant policies, procedures and service standards.
