BDS are seeking repairs officers to join our client, a leading social housing provider in London. The role is based at the Kings Cross head office, five days per week, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This is a temp ongoing contract with extension potential.

The role involves supervising repairs within the system, communicating with residents, and ensuring work meets specifications for payment and service quality. Strong IT and customer service experience are essential.

• Experience in repairs customer service environment.
• Experience providing performance monitoring and commentary against targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective IT skills including MS Office.

Mansioni

• Oversee and progress all repairs in the system to avoid delays and maintain high standards.
• Provide updates on attendance and completion times; record interactions in the system.
• Review completed works against the original specification before payment.
• Assist in processing invoices for payment.
• Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction with repairs and outcomes.
• Interact with customers and colleagues to understand repair needs and reflect them in service delivery.
• Provide reviews and escalate contractor performance concerns to managers.
• Provide phone support and liaise with contractors and third parties as needed.
• Support regional teams to maintain a reliable repairs service.
