The Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Repairs & Maintenance Team Leader for a busy property and maintenance environment in Greater London. You will lead a team delivering responsive repairs across roofing, plastering, brickwork and associated trades, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship.

This hands-on leadership role involves directing operatives, coordinating workloads, visiting sites, and maintaining records while providing technical support and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar repairs, maintenance or building services leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of building repairs and maintenance.
• Experience managing, coaching or mentoring trade teams.
• A strong understanding of health & safety within building and construction, ideally with SMSTS.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the quality, safety and timely completion of responsive repairs.
• Carry out site visits and inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance.

• Participate in an out-of-hours emergency standby rota.

We are recruiting for an experienced Repairs & Maintenance Team Leader to join a busy property and maintenance environment, leading a team responsible for the delivery of high-quality responsive repairs.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will provide direction and technical support to operatives, resolve complex issues, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and make sure customers receive a high level of service

You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and quality of responsive repairs across a range of building trades, including:

• Roofing and tiling
• Plastering and decorating
• Brickwork and groundwork

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting a team of trade operatives, providing guidance, coaching and technical advice.
• Monitoring the quality, safety and timely completion of responsive repairs.
• Carrying out site visits and inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance.
