Goodman Masson is partnering with a well-established housing association to recruit an Assets & Repairs Manager. You will lead the responsive repairs service, drive improvements, and champion a customer-focused approach for residents in Greater London.

Reporting to the Head of Assets & Repairs, you will oversee operations, manage budgets, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with Awaab’s Law and building safety requirements.

Formación

• Experience managing repairs, maintenance or asset management services within social housing.
• Strong contract management experience, including contractor performance monitoring and service improvement.
• Understanding of legal disrepair, housing condition issues and Awaab’s Law requirements.
• Experience managing operational budgets, expenditure, financial reporting and value-for-money initiatives.
• Proven experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
• Knowledge of building regulations, CDM, landlord and tenant legislation, and health and safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead responsive repairs service from report to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high standards for residents.
• Monitor contractor performance, run KPI reviews and ensure value for money across repairs contracts.
• Own legal disrepair and Awaab’s Law compliance, meeting statutory obligations and timelines.
• Lead, coach and develop surveying, repairs coordination and customer-facing teams.
• Manage budgets, approve works orders and variations, and forecast expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with building safety, CDM, asbestos and broader landlord obligations.
• Produce KPI, budget and performance reports using data systems to drive improvements.
• Maintain accurate asset and stock condition information and support stock condition surveys.
