Job summary

SPS PoolCare in Leeds is seeking a Repair Technician Trainee to learn and perform repairs on client swimming pools and facilities under supervision.

You will assist with plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs, inspect systems for issues, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure continued operation. The role requires basic repair knowledge and strong time management, with manuals read as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in related field preferred.
• RAIL license or equivalent state license preferred.
• Basic knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and pool repair.

Responsibilities

• Works alongside a Repair Technician to learn and assist with general plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs to clients' pools.
• Learns to inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Consults manuals or other resources as needed.

• Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Works alongside a Repair Technician to learn and assist with general plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs to clients swimming pools.
• Learns to inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Consults manuals or other resources as needed.
• Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and heating continue operating properly, under the supervision of a Repair Technician.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
