Job summary

MPJ Recruitment are partnering with a repair management business in Manchester to recruit a Repair Claims Handler. The role is office-based, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £26,000 plus excellent benefits.

You will manage repair journey claims, coordinate with repair networks and suppliers, and ensure progress within set timescales. A strong focus on accuracy, SLAs, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor insurance, claims or vehicle repairs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of vehicle repair claims from instruction through to completion.
• Work closely with repair networks, engineers, recovery providers and salvage partners.
• Chase outstanding actions and ensure delays are addressed promptly.
• Monitor claims and identify potential issues before they arise.
• Maintain accurate records across internal systems.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Build positive working relationships with repair partners.
• Ensure claims are handled in line with SLAs, targets and compliance.
