Job summary

Bromsgrove District Housing Trust Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented Rent & Service Charge Officer to join our Finance team.

You will own rent and service charge calculations, coordinate leaseholder administration, and provide expert guidance to colleagues and customers. You will work across Finance, Asset Management and Development to maintain accurate stock information, support management accounts, budgets and year-end reconciliations, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in a financial environment with rent/service charges experience is preferred.
• Understanding variable service charge principles and strong ICT skills.
• Ability to manage financial data accurately and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of rent, service charge and leasehold finance activities.
• Lead annual rent/service charge setting, reconciliations and communications.
• Support management accounts, budgets and year-end processes.
• Coordinate LPE1 applications and major works charging processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and compliance.
