Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for our Newcastle Upon Tyne office. This role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and sales strategy within the Renewable energy sector.

You will grow existing accounts, advise on service centre capabilities, introduce new services, and identify new UK/Europe opportunities in wind energy, leveraging strong technical knowledge and B2B sales experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business (preferred).
• Several years of experience in the renewable energy sector or a related field.
• Proven B2B sales success in the renewables sector, or similar.
• Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy technologies and solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
• Proven ability to foster and manage customer relationships.
• Familiarity with sales techniques, CRM systems, and computer skills including email, internet, data entry and MS Excel.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Europe.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours required to respond to client emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share and customer base.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
• Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals and after-sales support.
• Present sales figures, analyse margins, and provide forecasts to senior management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new products to maintain competitive edge.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships and provide ongoing support.
• Offer technically led sales consultations, aligning customer needs with wind energy solutions.
