Job summary

ScottishPower Renewables, based in Glasgow, invites an Assistant Project Manager – Onshore (Development) to help develop the SPR pipeline, with a focus on repowering. The role involves early-stage project management, feasibility, and commercial development for grid and land agreements.

The successful candidate will contribute to environmental assessments, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and support investment case preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a development role or within Renewables/Energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Take on and manage tasks allocated by the Project Manager to develop SPR's pipeline of renewable projects, particularly repowering.
• Manage feasibility assessments, design stages, securing grid and land agreements, stakeholder consultation and the commercial development of project business cases.
• Provide input to environmental impact assessment processes and consent applications; liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure delivery specifications are met.
• Contribute to commercial agreements and contracts to mitigate risks and assist in investment case preparation.
