Job summary
ScottishPower Renewables, part of the Iberdrola group, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager – Onshore (Development) in Glasgow. The role involves leading aspects of onshore wind project development, coordinating feasibility, design, grid/land agreements, and stakeholder engagement to support commercial development of projects.
You will input into environmental statements and consent applications, liaise with suppliers, and assist in investment cases and contracts to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Experience in development roles or Renewables/Energy industry and ability to translate technical detail into commercial impact.
- Experience in commercial negotiations and ability to analyse development issues and provide solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage tasks allocated by the Project Manager to develop SPR’s pipeline, particularly repowering.
- Provide input to environmental impact assessment processes and consent applications.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to meet delivery specs and support tender assessments.
- Contribute to commercial agreements and contracts to mitigate risks and assist in investment case presentations.
