Job summary
Ardour Associates Ltd is seeking a Renewables Service & Repair Engineer to service and repair renewable energy heating and hot water systems across Leicester and surrounding areas. The role requires fault-finding, diagnostics and strong customer focus, with a commitment to safety and high workmanship standards.
The engineer will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and engage with clients and residents to deliver reliable service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with renewable energy heating and hot water systems.
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair abilities.
- Professional, customer-focused approach.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults in renewable energy heating and hot water systems.
- Carry out service, maintenance and repair work on renewable energy installations.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers and colleagues.
- Deliver excellent customer service with clients, residents and tenants.
- Keep customers and teams updated on progress and issues.
- Complete job reports and service records accurately.
- Follow Health and Safety legislation, COSHH requirements.
- Ensure tools, equipment and materials are used safely; follow stock procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed to quality standards.
