Job summary

Embrace Associates Ltd is recruiting an Electrician – Renewables for a home-based role covering Reading to Luton in the South East of England. You will Install, test, inspect and maintain domestic electrical systems that support heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage and modern heating controls.

This permanent position offers an attractive package with a company van, qualification allowances and a sponsorship programme to gain additional trade qualifications, plus 25 days holiday and pension.

Qualifications

• Certified to BS7671:2018 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
• Proven experience of electrical installation in occupied domestic properties.
• High standards of workmanship and compliance, delivered efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly with documentation and certification.
• Strong understanding of current legislation, standards and best practice.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, inspections and maintenance in domestic properties to a high standard.
• Install the electrical side of heat pumps, heating controls, solar PV and electric storage heaters.
• Complete thorough testing, certification and reporting on every job.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and keep disruption to households to a minimum in occupied homes.
• Look after your tools, equipment and company van.
• Comply with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) policies and procedures.
