Zero Surplus is seeking a Field Electrician to install heat pumps and solar PV across East Anglia. This field-based role involves high-quality workmanship in homes, complying with regulations, and delivering a smooth customer journey.

You will work from surveys and specifications, complete paperwork, and travel regionally. A City & Guilds L3 electrician qualification and a valid driving license are required, with a proactive, professional approach to customer service.

Competenze

• City & Guilds L3 qualified electrician (or equivalent)
• Experience installing renewable technologies into domestic properties
• Proven ability to work independently and manage your day

Mansioni

• Install heat pumps, solar PV, and associated electrical systems in homes across the region
• Carry out first and second fix electrical work to current regs
• Test, commission and hand over completed installations; explain system to customers
• Work from surveys/specifications; flag on-site issues
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas at every property
• Build professional relationships with homeowners and represent the business
• Complete accurate job sheets, certification, and paperwork for each installation
• Coordinate with office, survey and technical teams for a smooth journey
