Job summary

Eco2Solar is recruiting a Renewables Electrician in the Preston area to install PV systems, inverters and meters. You will ensure safe, efficient installations and timely paperwork while meeting MCS and safety standards. The role involves daily travel with occasional overnight stays and teamwork plus personal responsibility.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification required or equivalent.
• N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or completed apprenticeship with AM2.
• Solar certification (BPEC or City & Guilds) is helpful but not essential.
• CSCS/ECS card for site works is preferred.
• Experience with three-phase electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Install PV systems, inverters and generation meters to high standards.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time for compliance.
• Travel daily with occasional overnight stays as needed.
• Work within MCS, HSE and quality standards and report issues promptly.

Job description

Renewables Electrician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of PV systems (inverters and generation meters), accurate and timely submission of paperwork, compliance with MCS and Health, Safety and Quality standards. This is a site-based role requiring travel on a daily basis. There will be a requirement for overnight stays as and when required. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential within this role. The role requires good technological skills and the ability to use Apps to complete certifications and reports. Having the ability to work both as part of a team and also take overall responsibility for your personal workload, whilst delivering excellent levels of service is essential. A desire to put our clients' needs first and a thirst to develop your own skills is a key part of fitting into this established team.
