Job summary

LiveWest seeks a Renewable Technology Operative to diagnose and repair renewable systems, perform fault-finding, servicing and maintenance across our homes, helping us meet environmental goals while delivering excellent customer service.

The role is mobile, covering Exeter and surrounding areas, with on-call duties and a need for a full UK manual driving licence. Safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are central to the position.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience in renewable technologies.
• Strong technical skills diagnosing and repairing heating systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge and experience using mobile technology.
• A full, manual, UK driving licence.
• A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair renewable technology systems, including fault-finding, installation, and annual servicing.
• Deliver all work to the highest standards, complying with safety regulations and service specifications.
• Provide excellent customer care and act as a professional ambassador in residents’ homes.
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota and attend training and team meetings as required.
• Maintain accurate records using handheld devices.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
• Apply basic electrical knowledge to support fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Support the wider Property Services team with responsive maintenance tasks as needed.
