Job summary

Sureserve is seeking a Renewables Breakdown Engineer to maintain and repair renewable energy installations across the region. You will diagnose faults, provide technical support, and ensure all work complies with safety standards while collaborating with engineering and customer service teams.

The role requires experience in renewable energy heating and hot water systems, a valid driving licence, and strong communication skills. A company vehicle is provided to support field work.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy heating and hot water systems is essential.
• Gas qualifications are desirable.
• Valid Driving Licence is important.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing & repairing faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems across the region.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
