Job summary
Low Carbon Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Renewable Heating Engineer to service and repair domestic and small commercial heating systems, including ASHPs, HIUs, UVC, UFH and thermal stores. You will diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
The role involves undertaking visits across domestic properties, with a company van, fuel card and mobile provided. A full UK driving licence and G3 unvented certification are required, with training available for
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating is essential.
- G3 Unvented Hot Water certification is essential.
- Experience with ASHP systems is preferred; training available.
- Strong diagnostic ability across plumbing and heating systems.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and fault finding across renewable plumbing and heating systems.
- Carry out system replacements and upgrades when required.
- Produce clear job notes, reports and follow-on work recommendations.
- Ensure safety compliance with G3, HS procedures and standards.
- Interact with tenants, clients and site teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support ventilation checks (MVHR/MEV/PIV) as needed.
