Job summary

Sureserve is seeking an ASHP Renewables Engineer to service, repair, and optimise renewable heating systems across residential and commercial properties. You will diagnose issues, carry out routine maintenance, and implement improvements to maximise efficiency and safety.

The role requires relevant gas qualifications and NICEIC accreditations, a valid UK driving licence, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid domestic gas qualifications are essential.
• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 are essential qualifications.
• NICEIC Air Source Heat Pumps qualification is essential.
• NICEIC Water Regulations qualification is essential.
• NICEIC Unvented Water Systems G3 qualification is essential.
• NICEIC Energy Efficiency Qualification is essential.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Solar PV or Solar Thermal experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime for clients.
• Provide training and support to clients on operation and maintenance of their systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance.
