Job summary

RES is seeking an entry-level Site Operations Assistant to oversee daily operations and maintenance on renewable energy assets (Wind, Solar & Storage) across Scotland. The role offers home-working flexibility and travel to site locations with overnights as required.

Reporting to the Site Operations Team Leader, you will support asset inspections, ensure safety standards, and help meet contractual obligations while developing your career in the renewable sector.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety basics and its application in the workplace.
• Basic awareness of ISO requirements would be advantageous.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site tasks under RES Site Rules and safety guidelines.
• Provide first-line response to defects and emergencies to protect contractual obligations.
• Perform asset inspections of generating equipment and electrical systems.
• Inform Site Operations Leader promptly of issues and risks to avoid impacts.
• Travel Adhoc and occasional overnight stays as required to support sites.
