Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Field Operations Officer to join a renewable energy developer delivering clean, sustainable power while supporting local communities and reducing carbon emissions. The role covers day-to-day site operations across the UK, including the Alloa office and remote sites.

You will ensure safety, maintain assets, keep accurate records, supervise on-site work and liaison with contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance.
• Background in using light-duty power tools and hand tools for minor maintenance.
• HND or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Skills with Windows-based IT systems and office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Strong time management and record-keeping skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating site access and delivering toolbox talks where required.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Carrying out routine site inspections and recording site conditions.
• Monitoring site status and highlighting operational issues requiring attention.
• Supervising works carried out on site and reporting on completed and planned activities.
• Conducting basic checks on third-party contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards.
• Maintaining accurate site records, logs and operational documentation.
• Completing minor maintenance and general site upkeep, including cleaning intakes, replacing filters and lighting, managing weeds and similar tasks.
