Job summary

Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Field Operations Officer to manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, maintenance efficiency and accurate records across UK sites. The role involves travel between the Alloa office and other sites, with occasional overnight stays, and hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm.

You will coordinate access, supervise on-site work, maintain logs and ensure environmental compliance, while handling routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks to support reliable

Qualifications

• Experience within facilities management or industrial maintenance.
• HND or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Skills with Windows-based IT systems and office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong time management and record-keeping skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating site access and delivering toolbox talks where required.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Carrying out routine site inspections and recording site conditions.
• Monitoring site status and highlighting operational issues requiring attention.
• Supervising works carried out on site and reporting on completed and planned activities.
• Conducting basic checks on third‑party contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards.
• Maintaining accurate site records, logs and operational documentation.
• Completing minor maintenance and general site upkeep, including cleaning intakes, replacing filters and lighting, managing weeds and similar tasks.
