Job summary

Mint Selection Ltd is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers for 12 to 18 month contracts, focusing on HV/LV design for solar PV, BESS and substation projects. You will support construction and commissioning teams on technical queries and deliver designs on site.

Key responsibilities include preparing diagrams, cable calculations, earthing designs, and coordinating with civil and grid engineering disciplines to ensure compliant, safe and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

Experience in electrical design for renewable energy or power infrastructure.
Knowledge of HV/LV design standards, ENA and IEC.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical calculation tools.
Understanding of cable, transformer and earthing design principles.
Engineering degree preferred; chartered status or progress beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop and review HV and LV electrical designs for renewable energy and grid projects.
Produce and check single line diagrams, cable calculations and earthing designs.
Respond to technical queries from construction and commissioning teams.
Coordinate with civil, protection and control, and grid engineering disciplines.
