Job summary

Mint Selection Ltd is seeking experienced Protection and Control Engineers for upcoming renewable, storage and HV substation projects. You will develop protection philosophies, perform fault studies, and coordinate with design and network operator teams to ensure safe, reliable operation of the power system.

Candidates should have HV protection experience, knowledge of SIPROTEC/Relion/SEL, and familiarity with DIgSILENT PowerFactory or ETAP for settings and coordination studies.

Qualifications

HV substation protection engineering experience with evidence of voltage levels and schemes.
Knowledge of SIPROTEC, Relion or SEL platforms.
Experience using DIgSILENT PowerFactory or ETAP for studies.
Understanding of G99 protection standards for networks.
Engineering degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop protection philosophies and scheme applications for renewable, storage and substation projects.
Carry out fault studies, grading and coordination, and produce relay settings.
Check settings, logic and technical calculations, and provide independent technical assurance.
Coordinate design reviews with secondary design, SCADA and network operator teams.
