Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Workday HCM Consultant - AMS to provide ongoing post-production support, enhancements, and optimisation across multiple client engagements. You will work with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality Workday solutions aligned with best practices and releases.

The role involves incident management, requirement analysis, testing, and implementation support in a fast-paced managed services environment. UK resident eligibility for security clearance is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of Workday HCM experience in implementation, support, or AMS environments.
• Active Workday HCM Certification preferred.
• Experience supporting one or more Workday HCM functional areas.
• Experience gathering business requirements, testing solutions, and supporting business users.
• Strong understanding of Workday configuration, business processes, security, and tenant management.
• Experience troubleshooting system issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Workday HCM specialist, providing post-production support across multiple client engagements.
• Support day-to-day AMS activities, including incidents, service requests, enhancements, and problem resolution.
• Partner with clients to understand business requirements and provide effective Workday HCM solutions.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues across Workday HCM modules.
• Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security, organisational structures, and related functionality.
• Support customers through Workday releases by assessing new functionality and testing changes.
• Guide customers on Workday best practices and process optimisation opportunities.
• Develop and execute testing activities for system enhancements and defect resolutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions for recurring issues.
• Track issues, risks, and service requests, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Support data loads, data validation, and configuration migrations between Workday tenants.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and provide high-level customer service.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to knowledge sharing and asset development.
• Participate in training and professional development to expand Workday expertise.
• Participate in on-call support and holiday coverage as required.
