Job summary

Advanced Water Infrastructure Networks (AWIN) is seeking a Waste Water Adoptions Manager to oversee the adoption of wastewater assets, ensuring compliance with the Water Industry Act and AWIN procedures. You will set up, monitor and review processes and coordinate with developers and contractors.

The role includes inspections, asset handovers, and ensuring records and GIS data are updated. A strong track record in adoption regulatory work and contractor management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the water industry, especially wastewater.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and project delivery.
• Good understanding of regulatory adoption processes.
• Strong health and safety awareness and auditing.
• Proficient computer and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Technically approve S104 submissions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Head of Waste Water with regional inquiries.
• Lead on new assets handover with necessary records and contracts.
• Ensure site inspections and contractor checks comply with DCG and AWIN requirements.
• Liaise with developers, assess drainage proposals, and support new business opportunities.
• Advise developers on legal and technical issues and S104 details for Legal drafting.
• Conduct pre-maintenance inspections, prepare snagging lists, and organise CCTV surveys.
• Attend air/water tests on new sewer installations and ensure passing results.
