Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Design Manager to lead and deliver multi-disciplinary water/wastewater projects across feasibility to asset management. You will guide technical delivery, build strong client relationships, and manage packages from concept through handover within a hybrid-working setup.

The role requires an engineering degree, Chartered/Incorporated status, and extensive water/wastewater experience. You will mentor colleagues and may have line-management opportunities in a collaborative,

Qualifications

Degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical) or equivalent.
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with ICE/CIWEM or similar.
Extensive water/wastewater engineering experience (treatment schemes and/or network design).
Experience leading technical delivery of projects with engineers and specialists.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-disciplinary technical delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure through the design lifecycle.
Collaborate with clients, contractors and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
Manage key work packages from conception to handover and interface with teams and suppliers.
Act as primary technical interface for clients and contractor partners.
Mentor team members and support development (line management opportunities may be available).
