Job summary

Pearson is seeking Visiting Moderators for the GCE A Level - Physical Education (2016 Specification). This fully remote role supports centres across the UK by moderating coursework and components that are marked by teachers.

You will hold a degree or equivalent, be a qualified teacher with UK teaching experience, and apply strong subject knowledge while meeting deadlines. IT literacy is required to operate assessment software.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required.
• Qualified teacher with UK teaching experience in the relevant qualification and subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Moderate parts of the GCE A Level Physical Education (2016 Specification), including coursework, projects and special studies.
• Undertake direct assessment of school-based components where centres opt not to make initial assessments.
• Complete and submit centre reports to the Team Leader or Principal Moderator as required.
