Pearson is hiring Moderators to oversee the moderation of candidates' work in line with assessment criteria and Pearson procedures. The role emphasizes attendance at standardisation meetings, timely moderation, and proper handling of JCQ documents.

Responsibilities include communicating with the Team Leader, meeting deadlines for moderator reports, and maintaining records for one year post-exam. Fully remote within Greater London area in the UK.

Qualifications

• One academic year's teaching experience within the last 8 years.
• Degree or equivalent.
• Qualified teacher status.

Responsabilités

• Attend standardisation meetings and comply with meeting requirements.
• Moderate centres' assessment of candidates' work per criteria and procedures.
• Route centre requests for special consideration to Pearson; forward JCQ documentation as required.
• Maintain regular contact with the Team Leader and raise issues promptly.
• Ensure all moderator marks and E9 reports are submitted by deadlines.
• Keep records related to the moderator role for one year after the examination series.
