Job summary

Littlefish in the UK is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to provide security governance, assurance and leadership across a diverse portfolio of enterprise customers. This remote role offers the chance to become a trusted advisor, working with senior stakeholders to ensure security risks are managed and compliance obligations met.

You will lead governance activities, manage risks and controls, support ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials, review changes and produce executive reports.

Qualifications

• Strong security governance expertise and ability to work with senior leaders
• Experience in security consulting, governance, risk and compliance roles
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27002, CAF and Cyber Essentials
• Experience supporting audits, certifications and formal assurance activities
• Excellent report writing, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and lead governance forums

Responsibilities

• Lead security governance and assurance activities across customer environments
• Manage security risks, controls, risk registers and remediation plans
• Support ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and other compliance initiatives
• Review changes, solutions and processes from a security perspective
• Produce security reports, dashboards and executive-level management information
• Coordinate audits, assessments and assurance reviews
• Manage third-party supplier security obligations and oversight
• Support incident governance, lessons learned reviews and corrective actions
• Provide security input into proposals, service transitions and customer engagements
• Represent the cyber function at governance boards and security forums
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to continual security capability development
