Job summary

Hunter Bond, a leading banking client, is seeking an experienced Director to define and oversee the Security Governance function across EMEA, reporting to the CISO Office. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across policy oversight, risk, and awareness.

The role requires strong governance background, senior information security and regulatory knowledge, with exposure to financial services controls and data protection. London-based with good work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• Strong Security Governance background.
• Senior professional experience in information security, cyber risk, technology risk, control governance, operational resilience or compliance.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulatory expectations relating to cyber security, operational resilience, technology risk, data protection and access governance.
• Information security, risk, audit or governance qualification, such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, is desirable.

Job description

My leading Banking client are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking individual to define, direct and oversee the Security Governance function across EMEA, operating as a senior business-facing security leader within the CISO Office. You'll provide strategic and operational leadership across policy oversight and communications and awareness. You'll be accountable for ensuring that security policy, risk oversight, regulatory assessment activity, user behaviour, data protection controls and training and awareness processes operate effectively.

This is a newly created and high profile role in a leading global Bank. A brilliant opportunity!

The following skills / experience is essential:

• Strong Security Governance background
• Previous senior professional experience in information security, cyber risk, technology risk, control governance, operational resilience or compliance.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulatory expectations relating to cyber security, operational resilience, technology risk, data protection and access governance.
• Information security, risk, audit or governance qualification, such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, ISO/IEC 27001, is desirable.

Salary: Up to £135,000 + bonus + package
