Job summary

Realityjam is seeking a technically proficient Junior Game Programmer for a remote, part-time apprenticeship. You will build gameplay systems in C# within Unity, contribute to multiplayer logic, and work toward a Unity Associate certification.

The role requires some professional experience in C# and Unity, with a pathway through our apprenticeship program and direct involvement in shipping live multiplayer titles.

Qualifications

• 2 years of commercial C# game programming experience.
• Proven Unity development with multiplayer networking.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom at time of application.
• Experience with Unity Netcode for GameObjects, Mirror, or equivalent multiplayer framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain gameplay systems in C# within Unity.
• Implement and debug multiplayer functionality.
• Collaborate with art and design teams to integrate assets.
• Write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Resolve bugs, performance issues and technical debt as directed.
