Job summary

GitLab Inc. is seeking a Senior Professional Services Project Manager (EMEA) to lead complex IT/software delivery initiatives across the London area.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams and global customers to deliver projects on time and within budget, leveraging traditional and agile methods and GitLab tools. You’ll report to senior leadership and drive process improvements while ensuring successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex IT or software consulting projects for external customers.
• Able to manage scope, schedules, resources, risks, issues and priorities with executive status reports.
• Build effective relationships with customer leaders and manage escalations.
• Identify challenges, motivate teams, and mediate conflicts.
• Support timely revenue recognition and change orders when needed.
• Knowledge of PMI methodologies, Agile/Scrum, SDLC and related tools such as GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale commercial projects and executive stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with Support, Engineering, and Product to resolve complex issues using GitLab tech.
• Improve project management tools, processes, and templates.
• Summarize projects monthly and prepare quarterly reviews.
• Develop delivery schedules, manage scope, resources, risks and issues.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to handle escalations.
• Establish reliable, repeatable delivery processes and metrics.
• Set forecast goals aligning customers and delivery teams.
