Merritt Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced business development professional to join an international distributor of chemicals, focusing on additives and polymers and selling to adhesives, construction, plastics, composites, masterbatch, polyurethane and rubber industries. The home-based role is in England with UK travel as required.

• Experience in adhesives, construction, plastics, composites, masterbatch, polyurethane and rubber industries.
• Direct sales experience from a chemical distributor is required.
• Strong technical background in advanced polymers or related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Develop the Sales and Customer Service functions in the UK, aligning with company Vision, Mission and values.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, partners, suppliers and customers.
• Deliver high-quality service and improvements to achieve sales and customer service objectives.
• Identify new potential customers within the allocated territory and identify gaps in the product range.
• Monitor market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
• Manage opportunities for potential and existing customers through the CRM system; coordinate with internal teams.
