The Role

Position: Business Development Manager

Location: UK Remote with occasional visits to Bournemouth HQ

The Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of 60-80 Travel Consultants, guiding their growth.
  • Coach TCs in supplier selection, technology use, and confidence building.
  • Identify business opportunities and teach TCs to do the same.
  • Teach sales closing skills and focus on profitability.
  • Explain complex concepts simply and motivate the team.
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide promotional tools.
  • Ensure excellent customer service.
  • Track team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven coaching and mentoring ability.
  • Experience achieving sales targets in travel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience in sales management.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with technology and social media.
  • Customer service excellence.

  • Deep knowledge of the travel industry.
