Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Training Designer to support the Royal Navy training design service at Faslane. The role focuses on blended learning design, e-learning and courseware development, and ensuring DSAT compliance across training programs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts, drive improvements through feedback, and contribute to accreditation activities while adhering to security and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Learning and Development environment.
• Familiar with ADDIE and DSAT approaches.
• Experience in Training and/or Instructional Design.
• Experience with program management tools and applications.
• Knowledge of UK Ministry of Defence procedures.
• Team-based, solution-focused with creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Own training courses within the Integrated Training Design Service.
• Ensure end-to-end DSAT compliant processes and timely delivery.
• Produce high-quality training design, e-learning, and courseware.
• Develop instructional strategies and assess training methods.
• Collect feedback and impact stories to drive improvements.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with subject matter experts.
• Identify accreditation opportunities following design changes.
• Maintain personal health and safety responsibilities.
• Follow security standards to protect data.
• Support the Integrated Training Design Service in other duties.
