Job summary

Focus Resourcing is seeking a Trainer Coach to shape the learning journey for apprentices. The role blends remote and occasional local travel, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessments to support progression and success.

You will assess, tutor and design off-the-job training, adapting approaches to meet diverse learner needs while meeting funding and quality requirements. A TAQA/L3 or equivalent and digital literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• TAQA Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• Experience assessing or tutoring vocational qualifications.
• Strong digital literacy and use of e-portfolio systems.
• Ability to deliver remote/online and in-person learning as part of a blended model.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality knowledge and competency-based assessments in line with awarding body and funding
• Design and deliver off-the-job training sessions aligned with programme requirements
• Develop, upload, and evaluate resources to support learner progress
• Adapt teaching and assessment approaches to diverse learners
• Ensure assessment evidence is valid, reliable, current and sufficient
• Conduct monthly learner progress reviews with measurable targets
• Track progression and implement early intervention plans
• Engage with employers to support learner achievement
• Meet contract, quality and compliance KPIs
• Review safeguarding and wellbeing concerns and escalate as needed
