Job summary

Total Training Provision is seeking a Skills Coach to teach, coach and support apprentices across work-based learning. You will deliver engaging training through blended methods, conduct regular visits, and monitor progression to EPA readiness in a supportive, values-driven environment.

You will work with a remote team, engage line managers, and contribute to safeguarding and inclusion while promoting industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in your sector.
• D32/33/TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award or equivalent.
• Functional Skills Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent.
• Experience delivering apprenticeship training in a work-based environment.
• Proven experience of assessing learners on apprenticeship frameworks, standards, and EPA requirements.
• Knowledge of government-funded training.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written.
• Excellent IT knowledge including using an electronic portfolio system.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision as part of a remote team.
• Ability to motivate and support learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate teaching and learning following the agreed learning journey and pathway.
• Complete required number of visits and reviews for each apprentice with stakeholders’ quality and funding requirements.
• Engage learner’s line manager to provide support and guidance.
• Coach learners to collect evidence for progression and EPA readiness.
• Monitor learners’ welfare and limit early leavers.
• Carry out enrichment around safeguarding and British values.
• Manage administration duties and meet deadlines.
• Ensure knowledge across standards and frameworks via CPD and standardisation events.
• Research industry trends to stay updated.
• Evaluate training delivery based on learner satisfaction and feedback.
