Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced trademark paralegal managers to help train an AI language model on professional document tasks. The role is fully remote with flexible 5-20 hours weekly, compensation at $100/hour, start ASAP.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years in trademark/copyright law, direct drafting or review of filings, and exceptional written communication and attention to detail. Remote work suited to US/UK time zones.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 4+ years practicing trademark and/or copyright law.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing filings and office-action responses.
• Strong document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with clear writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, evaluating and refining AI-generated legal documents, spreadsheets and slide decks.
• Handle trademark clearance and registrability opinions, and office-action responses.
• Analyze copyright infringement and fair-use issues; review licensing and assignment agreements.
• Maintain portfolios and docket trackers; ensure accuracy and timely updates.
