Job summary

QuestGates is seeking a Claims Handler for our TPPD team. The role is remote with ad hoc attendance at the Birmingham office for meetings and training.

You will manage third-party property damage claims from initial notification through settlement, ensuring fair resolutions in line with policies and SLAs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a customer-centric approach to delivering positive claims experiences while minimising

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of TPPD claims and related principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good IT literacy and document management.
• Demonstrate integrity and lead by example.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party property damage claims from notification through settlement.
• Investigate and assess liability, damages, and policy terms to reach fair resolutions.
• Communicate proactively with claimants, clients, and internal teams.
• Negotiate settlements while adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.
• Escalate complex or outside-licence claims following procedures.
