Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) seeks a Territory Sales Manager – Specialty Urology to drive portfolio growth and build clinical partnerships across the US remote territory. You will lead sales efforts, analyze market dynamics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.

You will travel 60–80% of time, including overnights, and operate in a fast-paced, compliant environment focused on patient access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in business or marketing with two+ years pharma sales experience.
• Proven top-ranked sales performance (ideally top 25% nationally).
• Experience in Urology.
• Experience with pharmaceutical launches.
• Knowledge of formulary positioning and market access.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep relationships based on clinical and market dynamics.
• Increase market share by closing new business in key accounts.
• Support sales with clinical expertise while staying compliant.
• Assess product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate and communicate with team members.
• Travel across territory; overnights and weekends as needed.
