Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) seeks a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to lead relationships with healthcare providers across the territory. You will drive sales objectives, grow market share, and apply clinical expertise to inform account strategy while complying with regulatory standards.

Travel 60–80% is required, with some overnight stays and weekends as needed. The base salary range is $113,600 to $142,000, with additional incentive opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related area with two or more years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
• A proven, consistent, and documented track record of top-ranked sales performance (ideally top 25% nationally).
• Experience working within Urology and with pharmaceutical launches.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, pull-through and push-through.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep and meaningful business relationships with customers based on clinical and market dynamics.
• Increase market share by closing new business in both new and existing accounts prioritized on market potential.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise and compliant use of resources.
• Assess and analyze product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate and communicate with team members to drive results.
• Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required, including weekends.
