Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking an experienced Medical Information leader to oversee global information services, develop resources, and ensure compliant, scientifically accurate content. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage inquiries, and drive quality and efficiency across the information lifecycle.

The role requires deep product knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed, in a primarily remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of a Master's degree in pharmacy or related science. Advanced degree preferred.
• Healthcare professional license preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coach, and support Medical Information colleagues, including workload prioritization and performance guidance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned therapeutic areas with in-depth knowledge of product data, disease states, and guidelines.
• Develop, update, and maintain Medical Information resources and materials.
• Evaluate literature and data trends to identify gaps and inform content accuracy.
• Oversee Medical Information SOPs, instructions, and compliance.
