Job summary

Avery Dennison in the UK is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for a home-based role. You will support the Southern England region, travel across the Midlands and South West, and report to the Technical Sales Manager UK & IRL within the Sales Team (UK, Ireland).

In this versatile position you will act as the interface between Technical and Sales, translate customer requirements into custom product solutions, explore new applications and contribute to new product development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales, Technical Sales, Business Development, Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in the packaging industry.
• Must have a clean UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Act as interface between Technical and Sales departments as the specialist for pressure sensitive materials.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and translate them into custom made product solutions.
• Explore new applications and market opportunities.
• Contribute to new product development from conception to market.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and provide solutions to Customer questions regarding label printing, conversion and applications.
