Job summary

Seriously Connected is seeking a Sales Engineer for the South West UK, home based, to develop machinery and solution sales across the region. You’ll work with food manufacturers and processors to understand production challenges and tailor packaging solutions.

This consultative, technical sales role offers the chance to step into an established territory, build relationships with customers, and progress within a forward-thinking packaging machinery company.

Qualifications

• Ambitious and motivated to build a successful commercial career.
• Technically curious and comfortable discussing machinery and applications.
• Confident developing relationships with customers.
• Commercially minded without needing to be a stereotypical salesperson.
• Comfortable managing your own territory and diary.
• Interested in modern packaging technology and automation.
• Based within, or well positioned to cover, the South West of the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop machinery and solution sales across the South West of the UK.
• Work closely with food manufacturers and processors, understanding their production challenges and helping develop the right packaging solution for their application.
• This is consultative, technical sales.
• Develop relationships, identify opportunities, understand applications and work with customers and the wider engineering team to turn opportunities into successful projects.
